WHY CHOOSE AN AUDIOLOGIST?

Hearing plays a vital role in our lives. It is important to feel comfortable with and to trust those who are helping you in your journey to better hearing. Treating hearing loss and fitting hearing aids is a complex process that requires in-depth knowledge of the auditory system and communication. It is not the same as buying a stereo and shopping for the best price. Your hearing healthcare professional should be more than just a salesman. An audiologist, is required to have a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Audiology and they are held to stringent professional and ethical standard. Audiologists have experience in the prevention, identification, management and treatment of auditory disorders for all age groups. As an audiologist for over 26 years, I have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating hearing loss in ages ranging from 6 months to 106 years.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

As a local, community-oriented office being involved in our surrounding community is a rewarding experience. I value the ability to educate and support members of the community to take necessary steps to improve their hearing.

By educating the community about the need for hearing loss prevention and treatment, I hope to help people overcome the stigma surrounding wearing hearing aids and educating them on the effects of untreated hearing loss.

If you are interested in arranging a  presentation on hearing loss, and/or hearing aids, please contact my office at 530-205-0259 for more information.
